How to Join HCM
Swimming with us for the first time
When you arrive at the pool reception inquire as to location of the HCM club for that session, usually we are at the reception end of the main pool, occupying the middle lanes. On arrival at the pool side check in with the club president or another other committee member about where to swim.
New swimmers you don't have to join immediately. Your first two swim sessions are free (apart from pool admission charges). It is then we twist your arm to join us for fun, fitness, and friendship.
As a member you can attend any or both of our two weekly pool sessions.

To join HCM simply fill in and submit the online application form.

Joining the club

- Option 1: $100 per year - just the HCM membership.
- Option 2: $165 per year - $100 for the HCM membership, plus $65 for the New Zealand Masters Swimming (NZMS) membership. You'll need to sign up with HCM and then separately sign up on the NZMS page.
Option 2 enables you to:
- Compete in NZ Masters sanctioned meets.
- Receive access to the members area of NZ Masters Swimming for great information on swimming techniques and swim programmes as well as plenty more.
